This long-form trailer for The Settlers video game called for a soundtrack which strikes a mood of adventure. Given the old-world subject matter, it was natural to compose an orchestral, cinematic piece which shifts in mood depending on the focus of the gameplay. The sound design approach accentuates the on-screen action, bringing the gameplay to life.
